96 overheating

Yes it is a 12v I thought they didn't have one lol I could be mistaken I'll look at that and I was messing with the breather hose and yep it broke lol

Yea the AFC still had an Idle valve. Like Kris said in his write up, if you're going to dig around there in your motor, better get some vacuum hose while you're there. If it's questionable at all, replace it. I think you get about 5 feet of it at an auto parts store for about $5.

I watched that video...I have no idea what that noise is or how to diagnose it without being there.

Ya I left for work had no issues sounded fine got off the freeway and started hearing it

From the sound in the video, it seems to be a cam follower or other valve-type noise.

What does the engine sound like when it is cold? Do you have the same noise?

Other possibilities are power steering pump or oil pump, but to me it sounds more like something in the cylinder head...

Dunno when I cold started it this morning there was no issue with it at all happened on the drive to work
