heres the deal i have a 97 a4 2.8 quattro and it is not getting a link between ecu and code reader have tried 2 different obd2 readers with no luck. i have searched google and have checked k-wire, unplugged abs,checked fuses the car runs fine but just cant get a link to log anything what am i missing?

 

Do you have an aftermarket radio?

 

yeah i have unplugged it made sure had good ground the guy who had it before me cut the harness but this radio has been in it since ive had it and computer was reading a month ago its weird and out of the blue.

 

anyone know anything?

 

well after all day of checking things i got a connection after i unhooked the air bag module...
