I found my torsen center diff off rear of tranny is blown. My question is while in air on lift in 1st gear when i turn wheel its like the tranny is not connected to engine. Is this normal or should I diagnose further? I would love to just put new diff in and call it a day and not have to pull tranny. will be looking for a DJR O1A center diff if any one knows where i can find one...

 

Search VWvortex.com for the diff shim mod. This is a prime opportunity to change your front/rear torque split from 50/50 to 20/80 for a much more fun handling setup.
