needs cv joint, battery, and clutch + flywheel probably. might need timing belt and water pump. how much will it cost for all this work to be done with parts and labor?

 

where are you located? I do work for cheap on the east coast. but at a shop your looking at 2k for the clutch and axels add the timing belt your looking at 4k.

 

At LEAST. If you try to go to a dealer it'll prolly be double that

 

but parts and friends labor easily under 2k for all of that easily. DIY for under a grand no problem

 

you can get all parts off ebay for $570. i have done all of this myself but idk what skills or tools you have. the timing belt isnt hard just tedious and the clutch you'll need to drop the trans for so a lift is nice. if you cant do these things yourself honestly id find a a4/s4 that has had the work done already for 4-5k and sell yours
