98 audi a4 suspension problem
just bought a 98 a4. this is my first european car. The problem i found so far is the rattling sound on the rear when passing on uneven road.
when i take a look, i notice that the shock cover doesnt fully cover the shock and i can see the worn out bump stop inside.
parts here for these car i shard to find here in Philippines. I found one on the but it indicates that its for 2005-2011, but the picture seems to be almost the same. will this be ok as a replacement for the bumpstop?
this is the one that out of stock, which i didnt know if it is the right one for my car

PArt number: 8D0512131L
model (1999-2001)
and here is the one thats available: will this fit with my rear shocks.

Part number: 4F0512131
model a4 (2005-2011)
part number as indicated in their site.
For the rattling sound, what do I need to check?

i also want to now about the front park lights.
on my previous japanese cars they got this dim lights somewhere in the headlights when you turn the park light.
does this car really dont have front park lights? just a newbie question. ty

soft foamy bumpstops are unlikely to make a rattle noise that can transfer through the body of the car. You may want to look at your suspension links after lifting the car up on a jack and start shaking parts of the suspension to see if anything is loose
Someone check the suspension and told me its the rear shock mount. do this really make some noise.
I am just about to replace the bump stop also once I confirmed that its really the rear shock mounts that makes the noise.
