Default 98 Audi needs coils?! help!

98 audi a4. its idleing really rough and the check engine lights blinking, the codes that came up are p1300 and it says it has a misfire on cylindrs 4, 3, 2. Would bad coils make this happen?

Did you verify that the plug gap is .032" (or set it to .028" if you're chipped)? Don't automatically believe them if they say the plus are pre-gapped. Often they're not correct.

You have to go in and actively turn the light off.
