hi sorry I'm sure this might have come up elsewhere but i cannot find anything on it. so my abs module went out and i have sent it to a repair shop and long behold the main processor was bad which apparently is not covered in the repair so it was junked but my question is i have a 0 273 004 283 is the model number on my module that was junked. now is there any way to use a different model number like i find a lot of 0 273 004 133. just trying to find out what the difference is between these to with the last 3 numbers being the only thing thats different. sorry for rambling on

 

Chances are there are slight differences since it is a different part number. Any time and Audi part is slightly different it will have a different part number.

An exception is if a part is superseded with a new part number. Most of the time the part is the same but its a new production run so it gets superseded.

Sometimes it has a very slight change but generally it will be the exact same part.

If you provide a VIN I can source you the exact ABS module that came in your car originally.
