A4 1.8TQ Short shifter install?
Yes i did search but didnt really see much as far as instructions, im thinking about this one:
SHORT SHIFTER AUDI A4 A6 S4 96 97 98 99 00 01 02 PASSAT | eBay
I know its not going to be as good as a JHM one but its $30 and im, well, broke. How would i go about installing it? It looks like it has alot more parts than i was expecting...Im planning on keeping the stock ****. How do i do it??

I don't think you searched hard enough.
Google gave me these:
JHM Solid Short Throw Shifter 1999.5-2001, B5 A4, Passat, Late - JH Motorsports Inc. - -- JHM.

Further searching can gain you other guides. The ebay short shifter comes with instructions as well.
