should mix it up even more and do b6 headlights front looks a lot better with the new bumper/headlights. ever figure any more specific air plans other than using the e level system?

Here's a few updated pictures, I reshaped the hood on each side to contour with the new headlights. I also filled in one of the major gaps below the headlight if you look closely. I'll get some daytime shots up soon...

Hey sorry i meant to respond sooner...as far as the air system goes i am still really hoping to go with the e-level. It is a bit more expensive than the switchspeed ( http://accuairsuspension.com/product...witch_amp.html ), but after helping out at the shop and learning more about the product and the benefits of the e-level, I would definitely prefer it. One of the sales guys, Derek, has been looking around for different strut/bag setups that would work for me but i haven't made up my mind. in my opinion the cost effective way could be to use a universal airbag setup with Accuair's valve unit and controller. I'll keep pushing for that group buy! lol

sounds good. I think the cheapest way to bag the rear is with airlift's universal air over shocks. that's what I'll be using and they fit with little modification (add a spacer and shave the dampening control ****). some pictures here http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...1#post56614484 the piece between the lower mount and the bag seat is the spacer needed. or you could pay more and get better quality with bagyard, not sure if anyone else currently sells a rear quattro kit. bagging the front shouldn't be a problem, I'll be using shortened (just to get lower) bilstein struts with uvair aerosport bags, I should be starting the install soon but I have to get my car driving first and school is inconvenient now..

good progress with the car. I still think you should shave the side markers and some things on the bumper. this may be a little much..

and moar b7 front conversions

edit: here's a guy selling a new e level system with management http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthrea...1#post67318545

[QUOTE=aledelic42;1239060]good progress with the car. I still think you should shave the side markers and some things on the bumper.

So i shaved the headlight washer ports and tow hole today. Hopefully i'll clean up the massive gap between the fender and bumper i the next couple of days....

Those avant b7 conversion look okay, just not sure if i am in love with the bumper choice %100. good find thought, i'd like to see more of the green one if you know where i can find pics

So my dilemma is to go withe a straight line (b5 style) across the headlights like that green car, or keep with the b7 look and bring the fender down into the bumper.... I can't make up my mind!!!!

So like always I've been pretty tied up lately, but i have found time to completely fit the headlights, shave the bumper, and reshape the hood (which was a huge mission). Next task will be the fenders and the gap between the bumper. i'll hurry, i promise. Here's some starter pics, oldest first.
