i've been shopping around for brakes all around... passat rear rotors are cheaper and seem to be the same size. will they fit on my A4?

Can anyone make recommendations for finding the A8 kit, Hawk pads, and ss lines for good prices (looking for places other than ecs)

Far as I know, Passat and A4 rotors should interchange as long as it's fwd to fwd or awd to awd. I'm not positive though. As for A8 brakes, ECS is a good price so unless you score a set being sold privately I don't know how much better it's going to get. Check www.purems.com though. Also if I recall right, B6 rotors are the same size as A8 rotors but the TT carriers aren't cheap unless you find a parts car so you're probably better off just buying the kit and saving the hassle.
