Default A4 BOV Where Is IT How To Remove

Before you guys start hammering me I did check the sticky, so now I see the BOV is not needed but bought a car that had one on it, where is it, on the turbo? How do I disconnect it. I use the car as a commuter so I'm looking for mpg, which the sticky seems to say i won't get it with the BOV, so I'll dump it in the garbage, just wanna make sure I remve it correctly and cap off the right way.

Check the DIY section - pretty sure there's a DV replacement procedure there.

I call shenanigans, because I found this in the FAQ sticky in less than 30 seconds. I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul.

Sorry guys never thought to look in the Faqs, always thought they were only specs and stuff, live and learn, now I know where everything is and this weekend we are doing the timing belt on my girls car, so I can take some pics and know exactly what I need. Where is the best place to get hoses and stock DV, please don't tell me Audi!?!?!?

LOL absolutely not. The dealer is NEVER the best place to get anything, only the last resort. New (upgraded) diverter valve can be had from ECS here:

You shouldn't need to replace any hoses unless the guy who installed the BOV ripped a bunch out, which is very possible. I would suggest eBay for those, something like this:

And no worries on the stickies, we just like to bust *****
