A4 Manual Transmission Remote Start Thoughts?

A4 Manual Transmission Remote Start Thoughts?
I was thinking about installing a remote start kit onto my 2001 A4 but wasn't sure if there were any complications since it is a manual transmission? I understand there are more precautions, such as putting the car into neutral and putting on the parking brake, however what about the clutch? I was reading an article about the Drone Mobile, which is the system I plan on getting, but couldn't find any information about if it works for a manual transmission. Has anyone installed the Drone Mobile onto their vehicle?
Any adive on installing a remote start on a manuel transmission A4 or the Done Mobile product would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

theres a ton of safeties. u have to stop your car in the correct position before you can start it up. if say you don't exit the car correctly the remote start knows this and won't start your car. Thats how one guy explained it. its really not any different from auto remote start

I go into detail here: https://www.audiforums.com/forum/b5-...8/#post1001410 let me know if you have more questions. They do make remote starters that are actually made for manual transmissions but heres what you have to do to activate them: leave the car running, put the car in neutral, activate the remote start while the car is running to leave it running when the key is removed, get out of the car, lock the doors and then turn the car off with the remote. Then it will allow you to remote start whenever you want to as long as you dont open a door, the idea is that there is no way for the car to be in gear because it was running after you exited the car... I explain what I did instead on that thread above.

Coming from a guy that use to sell remote starts at circuit city stick with any Dei product. You can wire them up so you don't have to do the stupid sequence but again you gotta make sure its in neutral. I know most shops will not install them in manual cars. We wouldn't. I hope your not doing it yourself cause they're a bitch and a half to install and you gotta make sure you got all the wiring diagrams and bypasses that are necessary. Good luck
