i was driving my a4 tonight and it was running fine, but i stopped. rev up let out the clutch and the car conced out. and then it would start again but it bogs down and stop running, does it every time now, wont stay running unless you rev it alot like it cant get gas or something. also when it conced out it smelled a little bit of sour eggs. otherwise the car has ran fine for the 2 days ive owned it but always had to turn over for a few seconds before it would start. please help! i really want my new baby to work. thanks guys. p.s. i looked under the hood everything seems fine, no check engine lights or anything. and my dad used his code reader and nothing came up.

 

Try the vaccum system first. little braided hoses at about 12 o clock when looking at the engine. they are **** and probally cracked. replace with silicone. leaky vaccum wont throw codes. could be a purgve valve or another compnent of the system also.

 

me and my dad looked for over an hour and found no broken vaccum lines. cant find anything out of the ordinary yet. gonna have a friend of a friend who is an audi/volkswagen licensed technician come over and take a look at it. hopefully he can get it running. i want my new car to work

 

we got it figured out, the intake tube popped off the turbo so the car wasnt getting and air mass sensor reading and shutting off. we just couldnt see it. thanks for the help though guys
