Hello guys I got a 96 FWD 2.8 A4 the abs is acting up , got the abs light on the dash ,is there any way to diagnose the abs to know what's wrong with before I start buying parts for it ,I read the abs module is a common thing to go but I want to make sure Thanks

 

See if vag-com can communicate with the abs control module. If it can't thats the problem, if it can then I would start checking abs/wheel speed sensors.
