Default ABS issue

I have a 97 A4 and I just replaced my brake master cylinder. Now my abs is kicking in almost imediatly on perfectly dry roads at any speed. I am sure that whatever needs to be relplaced is going to be expensive and I kinda dont like ABS, so my question is what would cause this and is there anyway to by pass and remove the ABS system?
