Default Add low-end to bose sound sys

I have the factory bose sound sys. Wanting to add a little more low end...just curious what others might have done. What kind of system? Wiring ease? Please share. I am just thinking an amp and 1 or 2 8-10" subwoofers.

You can easily add an amplifier and a sub or two in the trunk by taking the signal from the bose factory amp - https://www.audiforums.com/m_318162/tm.htm

I tapped the speakers since my amp had low and high-level (speaker level power). I used the high-level. So i spliced wires into the speaker connections. Some writeups say if your amp doesnt have high-level u need a converter to convert it to low-level however; this isnt true, there is another writeup showing where to tap before the stock amp to get low-level so depending on what sub amp you get you can go about it different ways. - Let me know if that didnt make sense.

Running the power is a piece of cake you just go through the computer box (some say if you draw to much current it can interfere with the computer but you only want 10's so it wont hurt anything) and seal it with silicon. The ground wire is also easy theres plenty of screws that connect direct to the frame. The remote turn on wire is found in writeups its one of the amp wires- however my amp senses turn on through high-level input so i didnt need to do that.

A new deck would make mine sound a little better but not by much since its getting a bass signal only.

I also disconnected the stock subs back there it just sounds better w/o them.

Also if you want trunk space id suggest one 12 instead of two 10's im glad i chose to otherwise you dont have a trunk and you cant fold a seat down since its blocked anyway.

that diy is good except i wouldn't recommend running the power wire down that side. go through the passenger side. i've learned from my mistake lol. have fun and take your time because the amp harness is a biatch

oh Yeah i didnt finish where i routed my positive, it was through the computer to the driver kick panel and then you can just tuck it all the way through the center, remove the center consol and use a coat hanger to pull it under the carpet and lift the seat up then into the trunk, i think its in the writeup.
