You don't need the bumper off for any of your repair work! The DV is difficult to get to with the bumper on but it can be done. Just takes time and patience.
Those numbers sound right. At idle mine sits around 21mmHG and ~26-27mmHG while engine braking. 7psi is good for the stock tune. With a GIAC tune I'm hitting about 16ish psi max.

Finally sitting down where she should be. Could go lower but Vog springs and bilsten shocks. I'm happy with it. about 5 hours today including my lunch break and running out to advanced auto to get a pair of spring compressors in the middle. I just used a press to get the rears out. Rides so much smoother now!
710N and ABS module tomorrow!
After the winter i'll start looking for some wheels! I'm thinking 18's but i can't think of any rim or color that will look good on jaspis

Audi Jacks SUCK! Sitting on rotors... lets see you get lower than me I was sitting under it too but got up to get a screwdriver and heard it fall. All this to clamp the windshield washer fluid hose CLAMP! UGH...
trying to get at that coolant flange isn't the easiest thing ever... I've got the new one on there 2 times now with leaks after both times. hopefully when i get back in it today it won't be leaking!

holy **** man! glad to hear you weren't under it, thats some scary ****. I HATE that emergency jack! its a god damn death trap. Only thing I use it for is to lift the car up enough to get my 4-ton under it, which then gives way to jack stands.
Just re-read your first post too, vac lines are easy as ****. Go to auto zone (or ECS if you want silicone) and pick up 8 feet of vac hose. take an old shitty one off, cut a new one to size and slap that bad boy on there. I've already done all the ones i can find on mine. car is lookin good, embrace the jaspis green!!!

I agree with the Jaspis being a very cool color. I'd say stick with a lighter color wheel. I think whoever said S4 wheels on the right track. Get the B6 ones, 18" and slightly concave, they would look sweet imo.
And ya they don't call those jacks widow makers for nothing, good to hear you weren't injured.

Scary, glad you're ok. You should avoid crawling under the car with the emergency jack being used at all costs. Ideally, you shouldn't be under the car unless its on jack stands or ramps.
