ughhh this fasdfjgag;lhag;lkha thing just won't give me any ease. FINALLY have it to where it wouldn't be leaking and as i'm tightening up the bolts to the block the head of the bolt breaks off and now i have the rest of the screw stuck inside my block

Use a dremel and a cutoff wheel to make a slot in the bolt. Then use a screwdriver to back it out. Good luck.

WTF? Did you snap the bolt of flush to the head or something? Why would you need to take the head off? Good luck with the cold... a warm house to warm up in will help, and beer, or coffee...

theres like... 1/4 of an inch of it left... i'm almost positive i won't be able to get vice grips or anything on it with everything around it but i'll definitely try to before i take the head off.

Yeah, I would move some stuff, and take some stuff out before tearing out the who head. I know it's cramped back there, but it's worth a shot...

got the screw out... decided to do a bunch of other things while my car was in the garage too so i took my APR boost mount out and did the vent mod and actually got the gauge lit finally. Anyone know how to get to the bulb so i can make it red? I also debadged my trunk, all but the rings, it looks so much cleaner now.

back to the leak - its still there. I got it to a point where the leak was so slow I could drive my car around just fine - enough to get it to a shop and have them fix it so i can be done with this mess at least.

THINGS COULDN'T HAVE BEEN THAT EASY THOUGH. I got about 5 miles from my garage and noticed smoke so I pulled into a gas station and the PLUG was gone!!!!! The clip was still in there and not broken but the plug and gasket are missing. Dealership wants $25 for it when its $1.95 at ECS. I ordered one from ECS in the first place and they just "forgot" to put it in the box, or some mistake happened, and it should be here now by next week sometime. UGHHHH

VEHICLE DID NOT WANT TO MOVE, CHECK FLUID DOES NOT READ ON DIPSTICK. INSPECT ON LIFT FOUND FLUID LEAKING AT AXLE SEALS, OUTPUT SHAFT SEAL, SIDE COVER PAN GASKET, LEAKING FROM EVERY WEAR. REMOVE PAN INSPECTION FOUND METAL & CLUTCH MATERIAL. FLUID IS BLACK & BURNT

no... but i guess i shouldn't say "now" its been like this and sitting for a little over a month. I can't decide what to do first... I want to buy a bike and its almost summer so its perfect time to buy one. I have another car to drive around in the mean time. I also want to fix the audi, obviously, but don't know which one to do first.

My only thoughts are buy bike now, ride all summer, fix audi over summer for the winter. makes more sense then fix audi now, buy bike in winter and not ride.
