I recently took the task of doing the AEB-ATW coilpack conversion (http://www.audigeeks.com/forums/inde...962&topic=3181) on my 1998 Audi A4 1.8TQ with my dad and got it to work. Now i will admit, when my dad soldered the wires together they were kind of quickly done but upon checking everything and turning it on it was running better than before. Fast forward 3 days and i am in the engine bay taping some wires together and cleaning up some of the wire mess we had. I LITERALLY pulled the cluster of wires i had been working on less than a few cm when the engine shut off!!! Now, i went back and checked all the connections and nothing! It cranks and sounds fine but no start again. I had the similar problem when i had difficulty understanding the grounding part but after creating a new ground for the pin 3 wires it started. ANY AND ALL HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, i was gonna get it smogged on Monday because that was all i needed to do, now it wont even start!
