i have a 99 audi a4 with a concert bose audio system in it
i bought a wiring harness from a store an hour away and a pin for the harness fell out. its the remote power wire that fell off does anyone know where it goes on the harness?
does it go on the harness with the rca? or the other one? and where on it?

if you can , match it to where ever the white plug is on your factory side of the stereo harness it should be on the side where it connects to the blue/ white

harness Blue white = amp remote
Blue Power = antenna

on audi white is amp remote

 

a guy at a local shop told me it needs to go to the remote wire for the bose amp. is that white? only my front left speaker works without it. that doesnt seem right.

i tried it real quick usuing a jumper cable just to test it out and it doesnt work. all i get is sound from the left front speaker. any suggestions?

 

it turns out i had the wrong harness. i got one from crutchfield now it worked great. i just have one more stupid question lol how do you turn on the fog lights? i keep reading about pulling a switch when the low beams are on but i cant figure it out.

 

U push the fog light button in the center by the hazard lights when you have your low beam headlights on... its that easy.

Edit... oops wait you might have pre face lift. Idk if it is in the same spot or not
