Default Aftermarket Spring/Shock Question

Hi, I am planning on getting a new shock and spring combo sometime and I was curious about potential suspension problems. I have a '96 2.8 and wanted to know what kinds of set ups people have on theirs and if they have had any problems with them. I have seen an H&R/bilstein combo that advertises a 2" drop. Will 2" affect the stock suspension at all? Thanks I appreciate any help.

As in will it take bumps ok? Will shocks or springs prevent it from moving as freely as it should? Does any of that make sense or am I a moron?

I have a 2"drop....bilstein sport/neuspeed race....

car feels amazing....no bump issues...or suspension issues for that matter...
