Hi, Im a newbie here but I'v already solved a few problems with my 99 A4 by looking at posts here.
My air con blows warm air when when set to LO ( I think this is 18 deg C)
Is this a common problem?
i have a factory spec unit with no mods.
Any help would be greatly received.

 

Could be you have a leak and hence no refrigerant. Also maybe your compressor is shot - do you hear it engage when you turn the ECON button on and off?

I can hear a click when I turn the ECON button off but nothing when it is turned on. Sounds like it is coming from near the drivers side wheel (right hand side in my model)
Is there any way of visually checking for a leak? Where do these pipes run?
