Airbag Light

Yes. Buy a vag com then search "airbag light", and "abs light."

The airbag light could be a loose connection in the base of either the driver or front passenger seat, or it could be that your airbag control module has gone bad and you'll have to replace it. If you don't want to get a vagcom, you can buy a OBDII code scanner from autozone that checks and clears your codes. The cost ~$80. As far as the abs light, the ABS control module has probably gone bad and will need to be replaced, fairly common problem in our cars.

yeah, there's big talk about vag-com's all over these forums. i might as well invest in one!

and is the abs module something that NEEDS to be replaced?
