Alice's Progress
Alright guys, BaseDrifter has convinced me to make my own update thread. I figured when I need any help or have something worth sharing, it'll just go here! So in June of 2011, I got Alice, my '97 A4 2.8QM for $2750. She had 180,000 miles on it. I had actually wanted a Pontiac Bonneville SSEi, I don't know if any of you know or remember those, basically Pontiac's boat with a supercharged V6. Anyway, this was her two years ago.

The first thing I did was got the windows done, darkest legal. And I don't know if you can tell, but when I got it, it didn't have that plastic valence on the bottom of the bumper, so I went up to Audi to get one.

Then I got a satellite radio and bluetooth setup installed, I think one of the biggest wastes of money I've ever spent.

She also didn't have the fob when I bought her, so I ran back up to Audi to get one. Managed to hook it up myself, though. Without VAG-COM too!

Then just recently, my brother had backed into her, forcing me to get a new hood, and I figured while I'm at it, just paint the faded bumper too! Oh, and got that STUPID license plate removed and holes filled. And since the tabs had broken on the driver side headlight, might as well replace them with xenons, right?!

I actually got genuine '01 valeos, not e codes, I kinda like the amber corners.

Just recently I got the LED interior kit, license plate lights, and reverse lights from Krauto. They look AMAZING!

There are some things that are driving me up a wall, though. My headliner...

My rear map light (which is on it's way...)

My rims are a mess...

Although, I'm thinking of just getting new ones, because the 16"s are a little small, anyway. But I'll only put OEM Audi rims on it, I think that just makes it look a little cleaner, like they were meant to be there. I'm thinking 18"s, thoughts? Moving on, I can't find the left c-pillar piece ANYWHERE, so I guess I'll just have to live with it. If anyone knows, PLEASE, please help. It's driving me up a wall.

My door moldings look like hell, but new ones are on their way as well!

And to top it off, my driver seat...

I think it was CCA4 that said '97-'02 Passat seats will fit. So I'm thinking... What about the nice ones that have memory..?

What would entail that swap? That way I could eventually swap the passenger with power from a Passat as well. And these last two still have me stumped, why is the RS2 badge on my grille?

I kinda like it there because it adds something to the front, but I don't like it because it's obviously not an RS2. And these tips aren't factory, but I like them, which makes me nervous about it being in an accident before, I dunno.

And the air vent on the far right passenger side squeaks like hell when the AC is on a low fan speed. And my CEL WILL NOT go out. Not too bad for a quarter million miles, right? Thanks for reading guys! Chime in all you like, and all comments and criticisms are appreciated!

I was pretty mad, but I figured I couldn't be TOO mad, because he paid for one headlight. And thanks Lukas, I know they do
So, I got my headlight washer pump in today, and installed it, works good. Except for the fact that it's REALLY loose, so when I put fluid in, it just goes back out. So, how do I seal it? I was just thinking of super gluing the effer to the reservoir. Also, when I turn them on, both headlight jets come up for a moment, then go back down. Is this because they're not getting a steady stream of fluid?
