Default Another MAF question

So i unhooked my MAF and the car idled fine and didn't bog out after i let the gas go from under the hood, now i hear about unplugging the MAF and just driving around until you can replace it. What kind of symptoms can i expect from doing that and any major damage in the long run?
The bogging makes the car stall while driving after i put into nuetral!

Thanks guys

Not a good idea. If the mass air flow sensor is bad it throws out your fuel mixture. Disconnecting it will do the same & could cause misfires & eventually catalytic converter damage.

Okay thank you, that is kind of what i had thought it would do. Suppose i can just wait and sport it as the new one comes in. Thanks M5S5
