Default Another timing belt thread

Just an easy question. I just want to make sure I dont need anything else on this timing belt kit. I noticed it's missing the damper, but I figured It wasn't completely necessary to replace.I also know I need a couple bottles of g12. http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...;engine=V6+30v

One other thing, I just purchased http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...57522&rd=1. Should I replace anything else when doing this.

Thanks,
Mike

it should come with coolant. The ulitmate kit is the whole package. You need nothing more than a 6 pack of your favorite brew, it gives you a much more relaxed mind set and ease the tension. When doing something like this the tip I can give you is do not get frustrated or you will probably break something.

I'm going for the cheaper timing belt kit.i dontneed to replace the damper doI?. As faras the antifreeze is concerned I'll just buy that seperately.I don't need the cam seals because I'm not leaking oil. As far as the work being done. I'm buying the parts and having my mechanic put them in. I may do the control arms because they dont look all that hard, but I'm not going anywhere near the timing belt. I dont want to have anything to do with pulling my front bumper off or messing with something that could seriously screw up my engine.

get the kit that comes with the 2 - 1.5 liter bottles of g12 coolant and everything else - except the lightweight crank pulley, which you probably don't want/don't need.

And do the cam seals. It adds 15 minutes to the job and parts are 10 bucks max.
