Hi everyone I am new to Audi. I currently own a 98 a4 quattro 2.8 and today i started the car to warm it up, and after like 5 min I come back and the doors are all locked. I manage to open the drivers door and get into the car. Thats not the problem though. Each time I leave my car it automaticly locks it now and if i open it through the passenger door the alarm goes of the only way i can disarm it is open my hood take of the battery terminal and then it goes of and this happens all the freaken time.! I need help any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

unlocking the doors doesn't disable the alarm? have you tired the key or the remote or both?

 

thats the point when i unlock the door nothing happens but as soon as i pull on the door handle the alarm is triggered. I tried the key but not the remote. I only have one key to the car and the remote is not programmed
