a little back story, i was detailing my car today and noticed some new curb rash. its pretty bad too. this is about as much rash as i can handle soi want to recondition my rims. specifically, they are 17" oem celebration rims. i want as close to oem paint as possible so the cover matches. anybody got any ideas?

 

grab a dremmel and smooth it out and then paint them up!

i remember there was a DIY on fixing wheels and some guy found a paint color that matched the silver color on audis. i just don't remember where the diy is lol. may have been on zine though

 

i dont really need a diy. i am going to be redoing the entire wheel, all five of them that i have. going to even be taking off the tires. i want them to look good. i just gotta find some paint...

 

would you consider a different color? if your going to be redoing them all over anyhow, is there something you have always wanted or something? maybe gunmetal? or just a slightly different color that no one will probably be able to notice if your doing all 4 anyways?

idk just a thought! theres probably a color code for oem rs4 rims somewhere
