I'm eventually going to upgrade to HIDs and projectors as well, but am leaning more towards a one-off foglight set up. Clipping the plugs and custom wiring some aftermarket fogs.

Whats the difference between the lowers w/ fogs and the ones w/o fogs thats causing you guys to have to fab up your own mounting brackets? (i've never had a close look at a facelift A4)

well its just the newer (facelift) bumpers since they come with the fogs standard in the grille they are mounted there with stock brackets that come on the car from the factory.. so even tho we can fit the grilles in our cars we dont have any brackets to mount the lights to.. so we gotta come up with someway to mount them to the inside of the bumper ya know? i would go after market fogs but, i love the factory look its kinda what im goin for.. nothing better than OEM+ in my opinion.. eventually its just gunna be lowered with a raked stance.. nothing major cause living in vermont and on a dirtroad, its not practical.. but she needs to get low =) window tint.. chip... then all this headlight and fog stuff.. shes gunna be pretty much complete.. i need to take new pics of stuff tho, im gettin lazy.. my car is filthy tho so i guess might as well wait til the spring

osin, i see what you're sayin. I sort of assumed that the facelift lowers would have the mounting set up integrated. wishful thinking lol.

I agree about OEM+, but i also don't want mine to look like everyone elses. My goal with mods is for the stuff to look OEM at first glance, but to make people want to look again and go, "wait wtf was that?"

haha CCA4 i wish they were all integrated.. would make things a little bit easier but, theres enough stuff under there to fab the brackets to.. we will see how it goes.. but i totally agree about being different.. thats what its all about you know? im hoping by the end of the transformation of my car it looks unique.. clean, tight, sharp lookin Euro.. theres so many awesome A4s in this forum that i love.. everyones got their own tastes.. i guess when someone sees my car in the end.. i want them to look, and be like.. what kinda Audi is that? hahaha.. make it look a little foreign and exotic.. which reminds me.. damn the state law that says i can only have a euro plate with my state plate as well.. terrible
