Default Anyone brought their 1.8T to stage 3?

thinking about going stage 3 if i decide to keep my 1.8t quattro, 2001, 94xxxmi. I was looking at a new ecu, full exhaust and of course a k04 turbo. has anyone does this and if so how was the performance and what'd it cost you. thanks

Search. K04 (even with Hammer file) is big dough with a disappointing 240 bhp result. You're better off with a chip, TT DV, Labree HFC, and 2.5+" cat-back (with down pipe) and leave it alone. Your 01 AWM code 1.8T already has a K03s. With the setup I listed, that should be good up to 225-230 bhp.

If you're willing to blow $5000 on a proper K04 setup, go with at least a GTRS elim kit from Mike at Ringer Racing. You'll push close to 300 whp with the Revo tune.

I am stage 10, well I guess thats what it woudl be with the 800chp it makes. LOL

The elim kits are really the next step you want to do from a K03, the K04 isn't really all that much more power then a K03 can make. Once you drive in a A4 1.8t with an elim you will wonder why Audi didn't put that size turbo on the car, but then if they did they wouldn't have sold any S4's.

If you are really interested in a Elim kit please feel free to email me at Info@ringer-racing.com or PM me and we can talk about parts and tuning options. I offer both Revo and Uni tunes for the 2001.
