Ok, so lately my Audi A4 started making a creeeking noise when I turn the wheel at times. Not always, but it sometimes does it.

What could this be?

If when you turn the wheel and it sounds like two balloons rubbing together it is the bushings on you r control arms

It is interior and it is the interior steering column joint. Try changing the tilt and telescopic up and down and in and out. That will at least temporarily fix it.

you could be low on power steering fluid. my steering made a low buzzing noise when i turned the wheel.
sometimes it also helps to flush out the fluid and put new one in there.
