Audi b5 2.8L 30v
So I'm having misfire issues in the number 3 and 6 cylinders of my car. (The two right at the back) It's not a permanent thing, but it comes more than it goes. I've already replaced all my plugs with recomended NGK plugs. I've replace the MAF, the coil pack and sparkplug leads with factory spec new ones. I've checked all connections. So i don't think i have a firing issue. Could it be bad injectors? I know I'm getting feul, cause when I remove the plugs and swing the engine it blows feul all over the place. Is it possible that the injectors are maby drowning the plugs? (After driving a bit the plugs are burned pitch black)
Thread moved to the B5 section.
If you suspect it may be the injectors causing this issue, you can swap the injectors around to see if the misfire follows the injector swap.
Another potential is old/bad primary oxygen sensors.
