Audi b5 heavy on feul
Hi guys/girls, I have a Audi B5 2.6 that is giving me problems since I did the valve stamp seals on the heads. It is extremely heavy on feul, 3,5 km on a litre of feul. It floods the left side (when your sitting inside the car) with feul but the right side is OK. It idles OK if it's cold but as soon as it heats up, it's sounds like it doesn't get enough feul or air. I've replaced Lambda sensors and even the ecu, but it's still the same. Please give me ideas because I've already spend R21000 on replacement parts. On the computer it gives me a key signal. Thanks
The right side has a black substance on the plugs. You can clean it but after a short drive, it's back. The mechanic says it's due to over flooding of petrol. I do not have a vcds. In the idling you can hear it gets too much feul or too little air
Check fuel pressure....the fuel pressure could be to high. This often happens with the fuel pump check valve get's stuck open. If the fuel pressure at the rail is higher then spec then you will need to change your fuel pump...even thought the fuel pump is working.
