Great.

I knew as soon as i'd post an update it would jinx it.

Came out from visiting a friend's place, sure enough, car wouldn't start again. Same code.

As i do a bit more digging, i'm getting conflicting reports on whether the crank sensor and the engine speed sensor are actually the same thing?

My mechanic replaced the crank sensor, which sounds as though it's located right at the front of the engine. The speed sensor looks like it's underneath the coolant reservoir. Anyone care to clarify??
