I have a 2001 Audi a6 quattro with a 4.2 v8 and last night as I was driving home, my car shut off for about 2 seconds and proceeded to turn back on without me turning the key at all. Everything cut off to include headlights, interior lights and gauges all dropped for this brief period. When the car turned back on my ABS, CEL, airbag, and Emergency brake lights all started flashing. The car drove home fine but the CEL has stayed on since then. I have not tried to drive it since and im not the greatest when it comes to electrical and computer systems. Any insight or help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
