audi suspension help
Before I ask for help I just got to say that I LOVE THIS SITE. If i have any trouble with my car I always post on here before I take it to a mechanic and every single time I have an issue you guys have been 100% correct everytime so THANK YOU!!!
Ok so I have a 99 a4 quattro 2.8 manual.
Within the last week i have been hearing a really disturbing noise coming from my car.
Here are the symptoms
Whenever I make a right hand turn if I go even a little fast around a corner I hear a really loud creak and what seems to be some kind of rubbing.
If I go uphill while turning I hear the creak and then all of a sudden a bang or a pop of some kind.
I dont hear anything while driving normally just under these conditions.
Please any ideas would be great.
Also I was thinking of lowering my car a little bit and if anyone has any inexpensive ideas how to do that, that would be amazing......
Thanks guys

Control arm bushing sounds about right, but the "rubbing" and the fact its only on a right turn sound more like a wheel bearing. If you arent doin the work yourself then I wouldnt worry about it. The mechanic will know when he takes it for a road test.
