Question Audi Tech training program at UTI....

First off, apologies in advance if this wasn't the best place to post this.

I've been looking into the automotive technology/Audi manufacturer-specific training programs that UTI offers. Has anyone heard anything about/been through the program? I've heard many hit-and-miss stories about UTI graduates.

Here's the link:

ive only heard good stuff about uti from a couple buddies. i am lucky though, the university has a automotive program so although schooling takes a little longer cuz u still have to take generals and stuff, its still a lot cheaper.

I've always wanted to go to a program like that after I retire, just to be able to do something fun and keep myself busy.

Went through the program and graduated. The program itself is very good....if you can get into it. The elective programs are designed so that you have to be accepted with a certain GPA that you get through UTI and there is an interview process. I actually got denied by BMW and Audi, but Audi gave me a second chance to do over my electronics classes for a better GPA. Its not a cake walk like UTI says it is. Working at a dealership is well.......interesting. You can either make a turd load of money, or you can get screwed by the team leaders. If you work for a shop, make sure it has central dispatch and there aren't any team leaders that steal all the good work, or you will be broke for years to come.

Thanks for the quick replies! I'll definitely have to look more into the program now, it sounds like it's pretty worthwhile.
