Default Auto tranny issue

Ok, on the day I just happened to look for new cars, my tranny started acting up. I was backing out of a parking spot, and it took a second for reverse to kick in. Had to make a stop when I got back to town, and it did it again when I backed up, this time worse. And when I got home, I went up and down my driveway a couple times. When I first started backing up, I could tell it wasn't fully engaged. I gave it a little gas and could feel a clunk as it got into gear. No problems changing gears in drive though. Some one please tell me that more than likely its the fluid. I'm gonna call the shop in the morning to look into cost. Like I said, its an auto and I have 112k on it.

It could very well be a fluid/filter issue but it may be worse. That's the logical first step though and a good place to start.

Well, the shop called a little while ago. It was low, but after they filled it back up, it still did it. It is a Euro shop, but he said they don't do alot of auto tranny work, but he thinks there might be a sensor that could do it. He is gonna do a bit more research.

So, I need a new transmission. Anyone got one laying around?
