Default Automatic tran. fails on hill

Hi phellas !

Recently Im starting to have a problem when I stop in a hill, when the car is hot (this only happens during the day, at night is ok) when I accelerate it , it starts to rev (2k > 4k rpm) and the car does not move and then suddenly it accelerates like crazy ! , I tried searching for other threads but this seems to be a new issue.

Could you please tell me where should I start ?

Thanks
Mike

Since it's a closed system, there is no easy way to check it. Unlike engine oil, you shouldn't ever need to top it off. My guess is that there is a leak somewhere in the system that needs to be identified and fixed first- you would then need to drop the pan, clean it, set new gaskets, and refill it.
