Does anyone know how the aux cooling fan works?!? How does is switch between low and high speed operation? What causes that to happen? If you hook the fan up directly to 12v power will it automatically run on high or low speed? I'm trying to do some trouble shooting...

There's a 40amp fuse under the dash that pops after the car has been on for 2-5 minutes.. when it pops the aux cooling fan stops working. I'm wondering if when if first comes on it's at low speed but when it trys to kick into high speed operation that is when it pops
