Im interested in swapping an ls1 into a B5 a4 is there a adapter kit available?

As for the LS1 kit...No, nobody makes a conversion kit for that. Actually, nobody makes a "real" conversion kit for swapping even another Audi motor into an Audi. It's all custom. So swapping an engine from an entirely different brand of car into a technical car like an Audi would be a real pain in my opinion.

However, I'd love to see an LS series engine in an Audi, so feel free to still go for it.

 

alright i kinda figured that ive found a couple that people put older 350s in and got a little info but none that used the awd tranny

Saw a video on YouTube of a guy who put a Ford 5.0 in a B5, but he converted it to RWD only. It was pretty sweet.

 

I heard from someone that lived around me that a few motor head guys who know what they're doing were swapping an evo motor into a b5.

 

There is an adaptor plate for the ls series engine to the audi o1e 6mt. Not sure which company makes it but all the other work had to be custom. But it is not that hard to shoehorn an engine into a car. Just requires lots of cutting and welding.
