I have the stock Audi delta radio with stock speakers all around in my car. I was wondering what are the dimensions of the door speakers and rear deck speakers and what are some good speakers to upgrade to. Thanks

I have upgraded to Kicker speakers all around and have no complaints. For fronts I used 4" speakers and the rears are 6.5", and you'll need adapters or some creativity to get aftermarket speakers to fit snug. I hacked up the stock surround to get mine to fit. I have since ordered the adapters for proper fitment. As soon as it gets warm out, I'll install the adapters for piece of mind.

 

i build movies theatures with my dad and i searched for a good while for the clearest speakers i found out that polk audi in the door speakers sound great i also added a tweetor from polk audio in my back door, clearest system you will ever hear i am running a fosgate power series 4 channel amp too with one jl w3

 

I'm in this market now too, at least for some new components. I blew my passenger front BOSE.

 

thanks guys i just ordered out the Clarion DXZ855MP touch screen to replace the stock p.o.s radio. As for the back what usually sounds better 2way or 3way?

 

Never go 3-way unless you're doing a high-end 3-way component system. Always 2-way otherwise.

 

i have compents in my back deck there alpines type r about $250 for the set worth the money
