That's what I thought at first when I saw it, but it's just white paint. I don't know why it's on there but I guess they have their reasons.

I got a call from the mechanic today and when my car was started up today it still smoked. The mechanic said that since the cat and exhaust are saturated with oil it may take a good little run on the highway to burn it all off.

Do you guys think I may have to replace the o2 sensors or do you think they will be ok once all the oil burns off.

Should have the car back on Monday as the cooling fans would not start either so it may just be that they were either left unconnected or maybe a fuse blew but I will find out either way on Monday as the mechanic said he wanted to make sure everything was working correctly before he gives the car back.
