So, I talked to an ex-audi tech and he said that the ticking is normal because the chain tensioner is pressure regulated. Thats why the ticking goes away after 1st gear, and once the car warms up. Was good to know..
Also, GOT MY HEAT / AC FIXED!

Turned out to be a fuse.. i checked the fuse that it was supposed to be, but it was a different one. Swapped the 30 amp fuse and now it works perfectly! Wont be a frosty winter
