SHES ALIVE!!!!!

today was a good day. Turned out we had a couple more wires to replace today BUT we got her started and she is back home!! Also got my Facelift tails wired up (had to swap the two pins on the connector)

Here is a pic of her being trailerde home last month when it first happened.. right after i got dropped off at school and my dad was bringing back to the car to castle rock.

Yesterday me and my little brother got all the new wired put in but i had to find where one connection went so we got that fixed today... the bmw helpin out the b5

Here she is back home where she belongs, running great (BUT she needs a new battery since she wont start on her own we had to jump it to start) the new tail lights look much better!!

If the car stays on with out the battery being connected does that mean its the battery thats bad?????

Is the "exactly" to the battery being bad??

I agree it looks much better. Swapping the pins in the connector was terrible i could not get them out for the life of me i ended up just using force rather than trying to nicely pull them out.

yes to the battery.

those pins are a pain unless you have really small tools and know what your doing, once you get the hang your good. did you do the dual brake light mod while you were there?

I just used needle nose pliers, first side took an hour of trying to be carful but after i figured out you could just pull it took like 20 min for both haha. Nope, ive never heard of that i was just trying to get them so they'd work..

haha needle nose are the wrong tool for the job. glad you got it tho. search dual brake mod, it improves the look even more.

well i had a small screw driver and other tools but couldnt get it for the life of me so i said screw it grabbed the pliers and yanked them out. it was a breeze after that ahaha

Went to autozone where I purchased the previous battery 2 yrs ago almost to the day haha. I gave them the old toasty one and got a brand new duralast gold FREE!! Gold batterys have a 3 yr warranty battery replacement free of charge and if its after 3 yrs you have 5 yrs of discounts on replacements. (fun fact)
What suprised me was they didnt test it or anything... may have been that they were pretty busy with all the black friday shoppers and didnt want to take the time but either way worked great.

Got the battery installed and the audi fired right up running just as good as before.
