The set up on my a4 i got at a scrap yard. Some one posted a part out of a civic and i saw a b5 in the background with the oem bars, so I drove out there and asked to see the b5. Oem bars and two Oem bike attachments for $60 (no keys). Later on i was looking around on CL and saw an ad for some one selling Oem bars because they sold theyre b5, drove out the next day and picked up just the bars for $100, swapped one make attachment over and now both b5s have the same set up. (the second pair came with two keys, which works on both rack sets ups haha so that was lucky.)

So in short both rack set up come from CL, with some luck.

Wow nice find. Hope to get OEM bars once I can find some. Had racks for my last car.

well time for some more catching up on what has changed. so after my last post summer came and I worked in aspen co for my internship. Also decided why not add some vinyl to my car as if imola wasnt noticeable enough.

Went out with a friend at the start of summer to take some pictures after a meet.

Then i decided why not add some vinyl so i ordered two rolls of white and black vinyl. and this happened loving it so far. gets plenty or confused looks and thumbs up driving around town and campus.
I did the wrap the day before my internship started in aspen so the next morning i had a 3hr drive haha.
*later added more black vinyl on the lower side of the doors

After i got back to campus, the coolant junction blew dumping smoke and coolant everywhere. The car was scheduled to go to the shop the day after for an RS4 clutch because my clutch had been slipping pretty bad. Ended up doing the clutch, slave, transmission bearings, pass side axle because it blew as soon as the new clutch went in and was taken for a test drive.

some tow truck images.

couldn't be happier with the way the car currently sits. It still has its quirks which i am slowly getting them all taken care of. Plan for the summer it to polish the wheels to match my mirror caps and trim for next spring/summer. (plan for camo is to run it through winter assuming it holds then pull it off in spring as well).

Heres some pictures from earlier. Wheels were mounted yesterday, thanks to mike hawk for the tires.

Specs.
A8 Sewer caps
18x8 et48
20mm spacers all around (thanks to kid gt (noah))

final specs et 28 all around, stock fenders, 205/40/18 nitto 555
