Wow way cheaper than I would of though. How was the install easy?

What do we need? the mounting harness, HID harness, error eliminator, and adapter cables?

Edit: just read their instructions, wow easy. Theses aren't going to melt the stock headlight housings are they?

I installed DEPOs in my pre-facelift B5 with DDMs 55w 6000K kit.

If you choose a 55w kit you may or may not need an HID harness. In my case, the ballasts pulled so much current, it reset everything in the car (radio, trip computer, etc) so I needed a harness.

You will not need an error eliminator as far as I know. You have a 2000 so maybe...but I don't think so.

You don't really need the mount unless you want it.

I believe your car should have the correct wiring harness already. I needed these http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-Quattro-1.8T/ES86/ for my pre-facelift which I got used for $20.

As always, pristine pics

Wow. Do you think it's worth it to get the 55w over the 35w? I do believe my car has the right wiring, you can get everything I asked about from DDM.

For $50 this seems like a no brainier upgrade, why haven't more people done/mentioned this? The lifetime warranty is awesome too, always have to be a little concerned about aftermarket parts like this.

35w is what oem lights out put is, if i remember correctly. the 55w have melted my depo decodes pretty good, but, i run my lights on at all times. if you are face lift all the wiring should be there.

lots and lots of b5 owners run HIDs it is the best route to go and bulbs are go much easier to replace vs oem bulbs.

ps picked up my e30 yesterday.

I've read the OEM headlights should be able to handle the heat.

Been reading awful things about DDM and their customer service. I'm thinking about going with a kit from krauto. He's around the forums.

Well a couple weeks ago we had a small snow storm drove through that just fine. But the following day when everything froze up, my bumper was destroyed. Its broken pretty bad so i have been running no bumper so about 2 weeks now. While the bumper was in my living room i pulled off the vinyl to get a better look at the bumper, and that weekend i puled the vinyl off the car. (using a heat gun makes this so much nicer, tried with out it and the vinyl kept tearing.)

Here are a couple pictures of how she sits. took these last night.

first time ever shooting video on my camera, took a bunch of clips last night around 10pm at my school campus and in town.
no its not very good
yes it is shaky
tripod was used on some shots
i thought i could free hand, turns out i cant.

was good practice and was fun so i will try getting more clips and try and put together a better one within a month or so. that way i am prepared to shoot some video over summer from our gtgs and such.

tips and tricks welcome.
