the coolant reservoir has wut i think might be an overflow towards the bottom left on the back. is that what it is or is there sumthin missing from there?

Is it the 'proper' thing to do? No.. Does it work in a pinch? Sure does.. will it work in his car, dont know. If it does, he can save up the cash over the couple months to get it fixed proper.

Ok.. Barsleak 'Radiator Stop Leak' is for.. radiators. 'Block Seal' is for blocks and heads... Ones lead, the others a composite matrix that actually gets harder at combustion temps. I've used it, it does work, the engine is still going strong.

That is prolly for a feature you dont have. My replacement has the same thing.
