I put a new battery in my 98 avant and now it's being funny. It won't lock with auto lock buttons on inside of the door or open the hatch. It also rolls all windows down when I manually unlock it, I think fob battery is dead

 

You have to reset your windows - make sure they're rolled all the way up, then (with the car on), roll them all the way down (manually) and then roll them all the way back up. The "auto" feature should be reset at that point. If you replace the batteries in your FOB, you'll have to re-sync that with the ECM (there are instructions in the manual on how to do that). The radio may be locked as well. There should be a code in the owners manual (on a card) that has the code. The instructions to that should also be in the manual.
