Well seafoam went in last night. But the ticking is really bad now and its starting to make a grind like noise. The ticking starts at startup and usually lingers to a slight knock when it is warm. Is it safe to drive you think?

 

Any way you can post a sound clip of it?
If it's knocking when warm and it's pretty loud get it in to the shop. Just make sure your oil is good and have it looked at. My 2.8 likes to knock but at cold start up and I'm kind of used to it. My 05 Saab and Grand Am also loved to do that. Lifters I guess.

 

Well today the knocking for the most part subsided. Now all thats left is my damn oil light coming on after driving it for like 10 mins. I think I'll just take the pan off and clean the feed line like someone suggested earlier.
